The Bythiah Sports Program
Mission
Our mission is to have the children play sports and we will pay for their education. The Bythiah Academy is a community of warmth, respect, mutual cooperation, friendship, leadership and compassion for all students. The students, teachers, therapists, and staff are a team working together for a common cause and purpose. Each student learns to forget their past mistakes and look forward to the future by following a proven trail to success. The Bythiah Academy focuses on emotional, social, physical, and academic growth.
Sports Involved: Soccer (International Football), Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball and Swimming.

Soccer (In Process: Selection of team starts from May 9, 2009 – June 28, 2009)

Requirements for Selection Process
In order to be on the team for any sports related in this program, every child or candidate has to be willing to go to a regular school or training school, and have a Christian conduct. Each must demonstrate the need of education and willingness to stay in school. They must also prove that their parents have no way of paying for their education. Abandoned children and orphans are an exception.
After Selection and Team is formed
There will be a follow up for each child involved in the team to make sure that each is in school and continuously leading academically. If at any point a child is not meeting these criteria they will be automatically removed from this program.
Parents or Guardians Involvements
We will require that each parent or guardian of the child be involved in the team to follow up the process of said child (Behaviorally and academically).

For each child in the program, we will pay for their tuition and supplies. For parents, we are removing the burden and worries of not being able to send their children to school because of unemployment or low income. For the staff, we are creating employment and giving them the opportunity to show their talents and abilities to lead others.
